About

This award requires that a separate submission be created for each individual work site. Employers must submit their data for each and every site they are executing work under the GPMA or NMA agreements. All hours performed under these agreements are eligible to be submitted.

This award takes the Employers cumulative total for reported craft hours and any recordable incidents across all work sites then calculates the overall total recordable incident rating (TRIR). Employer submissions will be organized into craft hour tiers with similar volumes of man hours to maintain fairness. Top performers in each craft hour tier will be awarded.

Did You Know?

Before submitting a nomination to this award, consider that nominations from the 365 Daily Maintenance Award and the Zero Injury Turnaround Award can be included into this award at the click of a button.

It is no longer necessary to make a duplicate submission under this award if your organization has made a submission to the aforementioned awards. Simply select the checkbox at the bottom of the nomination page for those awards and that submission will automatically be included into the General Presidents’ Safety Excellence Award.
