Union labor is important because it fights for fair treatment of workers, according to  Hazelwood. Unions negotiate for fair pay, better working conditions, and benefits like healthcare and retirement plans.

They give workers a collective voice to address problems and negotiate with employers. By standing together, unionized workers can fight against exploitation and discrimination, while pushing to improve safety standards, training, and job security.  Overall, unions help workers and their communities by fighting for fairness and equality.

Importance of the GPMC I NMC

These contracts establish a reliable basis for sustained growth and prosperity, laying the groundwork for future advancements within our industry.
