Brett leads the GPMC | NMC, bringing over 30 years of experience in Canada’s construction and maintenance industry. Beginning his career as an electrician, he combines hands-on trade expertise with academic achievement, holding an Honours Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science degree. Throughout his career—from Union Organizer to Executive Chairman of the IBEW Construction Council of Ontario—Brett has championed fair labour practices and collaborative partnerships. In his current role, he oversees national programs that support unionized maintenance work, focusing on workforce development, safety, and sustainable labour agreements that benefit both members and employers.
