
With over 17 years of experience in both the Commercial and Industrial sectors, Renee has demonstrated exceptional leadership and supervisory skills, establishing herself as a valuable asset to every team she joins. Renee began her professional journey with Stuart Olson (Laird) in May 2014, where she swiftly advanced through various supervisory roles. Her tenure included a supervisory position at FFT Syncrude from August 2014 to August 2015, followed by a transfer to Suncor in August 2015. At Suncor, she was entrusted with another supervisory role during the U2 Major (5y) shutdown in the Spring of 2016.
Throughout her career with Stuart Olson, Renee has consistently exemplified her leadership and supervisory expertise. She is adept at driving teams toward peak productivity while upholding stringent safety standards. Her experience spans from hands-on technical roles to positions as a Foreperson and General Foreperson, where she has always prepared meticulously to ensure the smooth execution of projects and provided her team with essential information to uphold superior performance standards.
In the Spring of 2021, Renee advanced to her first General Foreperson (GF) position at Stuart Olson, a role she has continued to excel in since her reappointment in the Spring of 2022. In addition to her Master Electrician certification, Renee obtained an Occupational Certificate for Industrial Construction Crew Supervisor (ICCS) in May 2016, following the completion of the Better Supervision and Leadership for Safety Excellence course.
Renee’s credentials are complemented by her collaborative approach and commitment to team success. She is known for her willingness to assist colleagues in understanding and executing work tasks effectively. A proud native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Renee also takes great pride in contributing to her community.
Her ongoing education and training reflect her dedication to leadership and excellence. Renee actively mentors’ forepersons, journeypersons, and apprentices, aiming to cultivate the highest standards of leadership.
