Posted September 15, 2014 - The Robert J. Watson National Bursary Program is now open for registration. Applicants can apply at the following website: www.rjwbursary.com. Please be advised that we have increased the bursary awards from $500 to $1000 this year. Best of luck to all applicants.

With another year coming to a close we are proud to announce the General Presidents' Maintenance Committee / National Maintenance Council for Canada had another successful year recording 32.55 million reported craft hours.

Posted June 13, 2014 - As the workforce ages and we have new entrants joining the unionized maintenance industry it is important to document, educate and share the success stories of the GPMC / NMC and its industry partners. With that said, two new communication items have been developed.

Posted April 12, 2013 - In an effort to raise awareness on the importance of oil sands development to the economy of Canada and the US, as well raising awareness of the potential business and work opportunities for US companies and trades people in Canada, the GPMC placed an article and accompanying advertisement in the spring edition of the Construction User.  This Magazine is published by The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and is read by union leaders, contractors and owner representatives across the USA.  Click on this link to take you to the magazine and our Article.
